Guillaume is an Investment Director at Eurazeo, leading the maritime infrastructure activity of the group and the 2 funds Eurazeo has on that segment, in particular the Eurazeo Sustainable Maritime Infrastructure fund (Article 9 – ESG maritime infra fund), since 2021.
He brings strong maritime expertise to the team, with more than 10 years of experience within the banking & asset-based finance sector, including eight years at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC – one of the 3 mega Japanese banks, top 10 world’s shipping bank) within the Maritime Finance team.
Guillaume was acting as relationship manager with a portfolio of around 15 large maritime players in EMEA + Americas (shipowners, maritime lessors, shipyards) with focus on origination, structuration, execution, monitoring on syndicated, bilateral, and agented deals.
He actively originated, structured, led and executed more than 60 maritime infrastructure transactions on various market segments (offshore wind, LNG, container, bulk, cruise, offshore, car carriers, etc.) under various financing structures (senior secured / asset-backed, project finance, corporate and export credit structures) for total financing amount of c. USD 20bn for around 90 vessels.
Finally, he also managed various financial advisory mandates for the world’s largest LNG carriers owner & largest maritime company in the Middle East (Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd / Nakilat).
