Raphael has almost 20 years experience in Finance, Asset Management and Investment Banking. He started his career at J.P. Morgan, where he worked as a marketer within the Financial Institutions Derivatives Team. In 2011 he moved to Citigroup where he covered insurance companies and pension funds as a Director in Fixed Income Solutions Sales. Subsequently, Raphael joined Hayfin Capital Management in 2017 where he covered investors across Europe. Since 2022 he is a Managing Director in the European Client & Product Solutions Group at Apollo Global Management focused on investors in Europe and is heading the DACH Region.

Raphael is interested in machine leaning, artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. He mentors fintechs and invests in disruptive technology and areas of the alternative investment landscape including renewable energy, venture capital, private equity and real estate. He likes to connect with people who share his interest for finance, sustainability, innovation and technology.
