Robert Scheer, Co-Head Private Credit Origination at M&G Investments, Frankfurt am Main.

Robert joined M&G Investments in 2022 and works as a Senior Originator in the Direct Lending team. His focus is on originating and executing mid-market direct lending investments in Northern Europe with a particular focus on the DACH region.

Before joining M&G, Robert spent more than ten years at ING most recently as a Director in their Acquisition Finance team in Frankfurt. At ING Robert was responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of sponsor-driven financings across various sectors in both the mid- and large-cap market. In addition, he gained experience in the Infrastructure Finance as well as Restructuring teams. Prior to ING he spent three years at Commerzbank in Leveraged Finance portfolio management and completed an apprenticeship at HSH Nordbank.

Robert holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, a Master in Finance from INSEAD, Singapore and is an alumni of IMD, Lausanne.
