is a Certified Accounting Expert and a Certified Swiss Tax Expert. Since 2020 he further holds an LL.M. in International Tax Law from the University of Zurich. Tom’s career started in 2001 in a global accounting firm, where he first began as an accountant. From 2012 to 2023 he worked for a tax law firm in Zurich where he advised individuals and corporations in various tax matters. Since 2024, Tom is Head of Corporate Tax at Budliger Treuhand AG in Zurich, a group company of Baker Tilly OBT Ltd.

Tom is mainly involved in corporate tax planning and corporate tax compliance as well as taxation of collective investment schemes.

Tom is an active lecturer in taxation of collective investment schemes in Switzerland.
